If you have an iPad that you never use, welcome back to iPad 101. Today we're talking about the Apple Pencil. This completely transforms your iPad. It really opens up your iPad to so many things like digital planning, taking notes, journaling, coloring, creating digital art, video editing, and even some games. And you don't have to buy the most expensive one either. The Apple Pencil USB C is a great option. Or you can even buy a third party stylus like this one from ESR. But if your iPad supports the Apple Pencil Pro, this one is my favorite. You get features like barrel roll, which gives you more control over your brush. You can squeeze to quickly access tools and switch between them. And you can also double tap to switch between your pen and eraser. And it charges right on your iPad, which is very convenient. And for some extra tips with your Apple Pencil, you can swipe up from the bottom left corner. It takes a screenshot and from there you can mark it up with different tools like pens and highlighters. And if you swipe up from the bottom right hand corner, it creates a quick note, perfect for jotting down reminders or ideas. You can also go to your Apple Pencil settings and enable scribble. This allows you to write in almost any text field and have it convert to type text. So whether you're searching something or just handwriting a quick note. I honestly think a stylus is a must have for the iPad. It really just takes it to a whole other level.
