Suspected human smuggling investigation launched after 35 foreign nationals found at Alberton property. CPS Tactical Unit responded after receiving reports of a break-in. When officers arrived, they discovered dozens of foreign nationals who had allegedly escaped from locked security gates and managed to break doors and windows to escape. The Alberton Record visited the property where found clothes scattered across rooms, bags of groceries and medical records. CPS Security says about 35 people were located on the night, while more were found the following morning. The security company believes 100 or more people may have been accommodated at the property, although this has not been verified by the Alberton Record.
