Their other posts in the index, biggest breakout first.
Meta had earnings today and the stock is in the toilet. Down almost 8%. Well, what were the earnings? How bad was it? They missed on revenue, don't know, didn't look, but I'll tell you what I did do. Well, you you guys are smart, you know. I bought more. And although I've got a little history of doing that with this stock. Now, I know what you're thinking. You don't like Meta, you don't like Zuckerberg, the company is evil, you've got opinions because I'm investing in it. You know what? It is what it is. I don't like the company either, but it made me a lot of money. So, you don't like it. deal with it. Oh, but aren't you a hypocrite for investing in something you don't like? You know what? You're probably watching this on Instagram or Facebook. So, what does that say about you, huh? Anyway, take a look at this. My very first purchase in Meta stock was back when it was just called Facebook and their ticker symbol was FB. And I bought it on May 18th, 2012, that is the IPO day, the day they went public. And I paid 38 per share. Unfortunately, a few years ago I sold those shares, but the plus side is because of that I was able to pay for my home in cash. No mortgage. Hey, if you're young, start investing. My second purchase was just a few months later and you can see that it was down significantly. I bought it at $23, even though I had first purchased it at $38. Now, I still have those shares and I have a gain of $2,181. By my sixth investment, that's a hard word to say, I paid 30 and $44 per share. Significant jump in price from $23. You know, everyone always says buy low, sell high but about a buy high sell higher. By my eighth investment, things weren't looking so good for Facebook. It was $99, a big drop from $344, but I bought more. On my 24th investment, I paid $721 per share. I have a little bit of a loss on that position, but today it dropped all the way down to $542. And I made my 36 fuck. I made investment number 36 at $548 per share. Because I am a diversified, long-term buy and hold investor, I believe that one day metastock will not just be above $548, but it'll also be above $721, whether that takes a year, 5, 10, don't really care.
