Here's a crockpot meal you're going to want to try. First, brown a pound of ground beef and then dump in a jar of your favorite pasta sauce. Mix that all together until it's well combined. Now we're going to use all these ingredients to make lasagna in our crockpot. First, we're going to add a third of that ground beef to the bottom of the crockpot. Next, in a separate bowl, you're going to mix together 16 ounces of ricotta cheese, about a cup of mozzarella cheese, and a cup of parmesan cheese. Next, add an egg and a couple tablespoons of Italian seasoning. Mix that all together until it's well combined. Now, we're going to start layering our lasagna noodles on top of our meat mixture. Then I break them in half to make them fit right on top of the meat mixture. Then we're going to add half of the cheese mixture and another third of the ground beef on top of that. Then layer more lasagna noodles on top. Then the rest of our cheese mixture and the rest of our ground beef on top of that. And then we're going to cover the top with mozzarella cheese and a little bit of parmesan cheese as well. Put your lid on your crockpot and cook on high for two to three hours or low for four to six hours. Definitely check your crockpot though, because mine was done right around two hours on high. This recipe was so easy and it makes a ton, so we usually have leftovers for our family of four. Be sure to save this recipe and let me know if you try it!
