Data Analytics as we know it is dead. AI has permanently transformed this role into something new: Agentic Analytics. Agentic Analytics is where us humans collaborate with AI agents to complete analyses. This means using AI for things like: ↳ Defining the business questions your stakeholder needs answered ↳ Generating synthetic datasets ↳ Writing SQL to clean, transform, and wrangle data ↳ Visualizing the results into stakeholder-ready presentations I used @ChatGPT Work powered by GPT-5.6 to complete this entire data analytics project from end-to-end. The entire data analysis pipeline from synthetic dataset creation to data cleaning to data transformation to visualization to presentation. What makes ChatGPT Work different from just prompting ChatGPT is that it’s an AGENT, not a chatbot. It takes action across your apps and files and completes entire multi-step end-to-end projects autonomously, adapting as it learns more. The Data Analytics plugin lets you query data, combine it with business context, build interactive reports, and turn findings into action plans. All in minutes. You can also connect to your favorite tools like Google Drive, Gmail, Slack, calendars, and 100+ more. It works across web, mobile, and desktop, but I gotta say I’m biased towards the desktop app!
