OpenAI just launched ChatGPT Work and it is going to completely change how we tackle ambitious tasks using AI. So here's the tea. It's powered by the new GPT-5.6 model and ChatGPT now lives as a unified desktop experience. ChatGPT is the conversational layer that we all know and love. Codex is the coding surface for developers and ChatGPT Work brings everything together, an agent that takes on your bigger multi-step projects. So let's say I want to pull together a performance report of all of my content that I've posted in the last 30 days. Instead of prompting my way through post by post, I can hand ChatGPT Work my overall goal. It pulls context from my files and connected apps, figures out the steps and hands me back a polished first version. And then I get to choose between a doc, a deck, or a spreadsheet.
