Make my sons 3rd birthday cake with me. This was completely last minute. Because my son kept changing his mind on what kind of cake he wanted and he was stuck on the idea of a poopoo cake for the longest time. For the longest time. Quite literally a cake that resembles a poop or whatever. And then he decided he wanted a dump truck cake. Now that I could try, which I think is so cool because that's what I do for work. And whenever I ask my son who drives the dump trucks, he's like, 'Mummy does.' And I'm not gonna lie, I absolutely winged all of this. I had to use some reinforcements, my son's building blocks to hold it up. But we got the cake from Coles and my big back just passed. Just had to poopoo me. I had to eat the icing. It's like a reward. Okay, clearly it's too early to be doing voiceovers. But anyways, we just cut it up, put it together and yeah, this is the result. Also, side note, something that's been blowing my mind recently is just how much your environment influences you. I'm literally watching it happen in real time with my son. We live in a mining town and when I ask my son what he wants to be when he grows up, he said he wants to drive a dump truck. Then a dozer. Then an excavator. I didn't even know he knew what a dozer or an excavator was. But I knew he knew what a dump truck was. But the rest kind of caught me off guard. And it's just so crazy to see that their environment is already shaping what they dream about. So, yeah, my son's 3rd birthday cake. Cookies for wheel trucks because safety first, always.
