Mini vlog. Come with me to New York for the Stationery Fest. I am Natsuki, the founder of Paper Bento, and I thought it would be fun to bring you along for the whole trip from getting on the plane to eventually actually making it to Stationery Fest. My flight from SF was really quiet. Honestly, it was amazing. I ended up finishing two books I've been meaning to read. It always amazes me how productive I can be when there's no Wi-Fi and absolutely nothing else I can do. Once I landed, I hopped on the train to Brooklyn and went straight to the hotel. And then I did what I always do when I get somewhere new. I went for a walk, just wandering around, taking in the neighborhood and looking for something to eat and some breakfast for the next morning. I think walking around is one of my favorite ways to get a feel for a city. And the next morning, I had the entire morning free before my Stationery Fest entry time. So obviously, I had to go explore Brooklyn. I wandered around DUMBO. I stopped by Devocion Coffee, this amazing coffee shop. I popped into Usagi, and then I found this bookstore, powerhouse books. Honestly, this is one of my favorite things about traveling, just having a few hours to wander around and see what you find and you get to explore. And before I knew it, it was time to hop back on the train and head over to Industry City. I grabbed some lunch, made my way inside and yes, I got poured on with a lot of rain, but it's okay. And this is already getting way too long. So I'm going to stop here and stay for part two because we're finally going into Stationery Fest.
