Thousands of people are crossing the border between Spain and Morocco by sea. These images were filmed on Tuesday the 30th of July. In Ceuta, a Spanish territory located off the coast of Morocco. For the past two weeks, dozens of people have been crossing the border by swimming every single day. But that number rose sharply this Thursday, with several thousand crossing in a single day. Overwhelmed by the situation, local authorities in Ceuta are now letting most people enter the Spanish territory freely. Even so, according to the Regional President, the reception centers are full. There is no room left for anyone, and local authorities are calling on the army to intervene in Ceuta and on Madrid to declare a state of emergency to guarantee the borders security and citizens safety. This is a developing story.
