I've never been to an event like this... I thought this was just another finance event, but boy was I wrong. the 6ix! Questrade flew me out to Toronto, but here's the thing. They wouldn't actually tell me what I was going there for. This whole trip was this huge secret, so everyone was trying to guess what was coming. I met up with a bunch of creators in the finance space and then, towards the end of the night, they slowly led us into this theater style reveal where they finally unveiled everything they've been working on. There were a ton of exciting announcements, but my personal favourite had to be their Agentic Finance, where you can make instructions for your AI agent to execute trades on your behalf. Like, if I get paid, then invest $500. This is going to be a game changer. But what was even cooler was that the next morning they invited us to brunch with the entire team where I got to ask my questions and hear the thinking behind everything that they built, which honestly even got me more excited about where it's all heading. It was such an incredible first brand trip and I can't wait to see what's next for Canadians who want more for their money.
