I'm building a custom app with Emergent for Builder's Fest, partnered with Kevin O'Leary. They're giving away $100,000 to 100 builders. So here's what I'm building. As an investor, every smart tool feels built for one side. US tools ignore TFSA & RRSP. Canadian tools don't support US Brokerage accounts. The Canadian setup gets messy the second you add a US brokerage account. I got tired of waiting for the perfect tool, so I used Emergent. Build me a cross-border investing dashboard for Canadian and US investors. Include views for: TFSA, RRSP, FHSA, taxable and US brokerage accounts with watch lists, stock ranking, and DCA plan tracking. Emergent takes that one paragraph and turns it into a real product. Front and back end built together and deployed in one click. Now I've got a live dual market investing tool. Canadian and US account views in one place, with the tools that I actually use. Watch list ETFs and US accounts move in real time. Add rules to positions and track everything in one dashboard. Most people keep asking for the perfect investing tool. I'd rather build it.
