Happy Sunday. Let's plan our week together. It has been a crazy weekend, a crazy week. We are finally moved in to my parents house. We're living here for the month of August before we can get in to our new house at the beginning of September. And wow, it just feels so good to be settled somewhere, even there? It's not our forever home. That's okay. I'll take it. It's also the beginning of August and I'm a super type A, hyper organized stay at home mom of two. I love planning, prepping, organizing to do lists, productivity, all the things. And I've been seeing everyone else's August planning, August reset, like August goals, all the fun things that we get to do at the beginning of the month and I felt so left out because I've just been trying to survive and make it through the week and get moved and we've done that. So I'm really excited for today's planning session. I'm feeling super organized, I'm feeling super motivated and just like ready to have like a really good week and get back into a routine as much as I can, living somewhere else. And I'm also super excited because I get to start using my new planner. So this is my old planner from the daily. I'm going to do a full video now that I've used this planner for an entire year. Cover to cover. It's done. And all my detailed thoughts on it. But today, like what is more exciting than cracking open a new planner? And especially in August, it just feels like a good time to have like a mid year reset, quarterly reset, I don't know, it's back to school time. Just like it's the perfect time to have a reset and start a new planner. I got the brown leather one. This is the mom planner. They are sold out, but I do believe their regular planners may still be in stock. I have them all. Linked in my shop. My if you wanna go check. This is literally my first time opening it. So I have to fill in my name and phone number at the beginning. I want to fill this page in sometime. I'm probably not gonna do it right now, but this is a year at a glance and there is a key down at the bottom so you can just like highlight holidays, birthdays, no school travel and appointments and things like that. So I want to fill that out. Just focus on getting this week done. There's so many good pages at the beginning I kinda forgot about. I also wanna fill out the important dates page and the yearly to do's page. Again. I need to just stay focused right now, but those need to get done. What I am going to do is fill out my August spread. So here is what it looks like. This is especially important for this one because I did not bring my fridge calendar with me. Just wanted to keep it pretty minimal and not completely overwhelm my parents house. So I do always have my Google calendar. What? Not yet. My Google Calendar is always the most up to date thing I have because I always have my phone with me. So when I'm out and about making plans, appointments, anything. Like I'm always checking my Google calendar and adding to my Google calendar. I have this all color coordinated the same way I color code my planner and my share with my husband and all of that. So what I'm gonna do right now is just reference my Google calendar and write in everything going on in August. My monthly spread is filled out. Feels good to have that all. Like I said, all events, all to do's, everything. And then I make a little key over here in the corner for all of my colors. A little couple things like month. So this is basically just copy down from my Google calendar, like I said, but it's good to have it written down. So now what I'm going to do to actually plan out my week is turn to my favorite page, the week at a glance page. This is where I write down all our bigger events we have going on this week. My master to do list of bigger things I wanna get done at some point this week. I plan my workouts for the week and the three habits I'm trying to track this week, but can't do that. So since my Google Calendar is still just pulled up right here, I'm going to use that and, like, write down what events we have going on. Okay. We have someone joining us, too. Um, this will be a very chill week, which just, like, seriously, thank you Jesus because it's just been chaos lately. But nothing going on until Friday. Like, I literally have nothing to write down, which is kind of crazy for us. But on Friday, so exciting. I have my gender scan. So a scan to decide or find out the gender for the baby in the afternoon. I could not be more excited. And then I'm writing down the babysitter for that. And then Friday evening, we have a church event, and we're also making a date night out of it, and I have a babysitter for that as well. And then the only other thing is church on Sunday. So, like I said, seriously, the chillest week ever. Which we can just get settled and calm down, and my body needs to rest anyway. So now I'm gonna color code the four things I do have, like I said. So yellow is for appointments. So that scan and then anything babysitting related. Also just, like, counts as an appointment in my head. Anything that's, like, school related, too, like, a certain time I need to be there somewhere or someone needs to be at my house. I don't know, like, anything scheduled like that is yellow is appointment. So both those babysitters I have for Friday. And then blue is church. So we have a church event Friday night and then actual church on Sunday. I think this is the blankest my weekly calendar has ever been. And now I'm going to make my master to do list. And literally, I've been thinking about it. The only bigger thing I can think of that I need to get done this week is washing all my makeup brushes. I meant to do that last week from my wedding two weekends ago, and, gosh, in between packing and everything, that didn't even come close to happening, which is fine. I'm gonna do it this week. And I don't know, I think August is just gonna actually be a pretty chill month because literally, my entire life is in storage units. Like, there's nothing I can do until we get our new house. And then September is gonna be crazy again because I'm gonna be, like, moving into a new house and unpacking and all of that. So I'll probably think of maybe a few more things I wanna get done this week, but right now, that's all I'm writing down. My three habits are going to be the same, which is getting my 80 ounces of water every single day. Getting it. 10,000 steps every single day. And, uh, seven and a half hours of sleep at night. So for my workouts, I planned a whole week of workouts last week, two of them done because then I was too stressed with packing. Feeling very motivated to get back into my workouts. So Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, I want to go to the gym, and I am doing my pregnancy workout guide. No. Yeah, Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Is that what I said? And then Wednesday, I am going to go to my heated school class that I love to go to on Wednesdays. That's right. I wanna try to do a strength class that I like on Tuesday. Friday, I will rest. Sunday, I will rest, and Saturday I can go to yoga. I love Saturday morning yoga, and I have not been able to go in so long. So if I could stick to that, like, that would be an amazing workout schedule to get done. I also did just remember I was trying to plan a playdate with a friend. We haven't finalized that. So that might end up being some morning this week, and then maybe we move around a little bit of the gym, which is fine. I'm going to write that I need to text her back and get that plan. So there we go. One other thing in my. In my to do list. Okay, that's it. That was super simple, super easy, but I feel way more on top of it for, like, going into the week. And then this is the page that I reference when I am planning out each individual day. It helps me keep on top of it. Everything. Stay tuned, because next I will be showing you exactly how I plan out all of our dinners and groceries for the week.
