If you grew up in New York City, here are some field trips we all went on as kids. I bet you went to at least one of these. You probably went to multiple. First is the Bronx Zoo. No matter what borough you were in, we all somehow ended up at the Bronx Zoo. Next, one of my personal favorites, the Hall of Science. I used to go to the Hall of Science and then when I became a teacher, we also used to take our kids to the Hall of Science. I was still go to the Hall of Science now, okay? I love a good hands-on, interactive museum. The Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum. I never went here as a kid, but again, as a teacher, we used to take our kids here. As you can see, this museum is on a freaking pier. It's lit. The Brooklyn Children's Museum is another one that I didn't go to personally, but I took students there. Brooklyn Children's Museum is pretty fun. So if you got to go as a kid, I'm jealous. Depending on what you went to school, you might have gone to see a show on Broadway. I never went to see a show on Broadway, but we definitely went to York College to watch some plays and fucking puppet shows and shit like that. The Tenement Museum. This is also a generational field trip. I went here in like 7th or 8th grade maybe. If you went to a fun school, you might have gone to a Mets game. Or maybe you went to a Yankees game. Big Queens. We went to Mets games. Now this next one, you have to be a certain age to have been to. Sony fucking Wonder. This was one of the best field trips you could go to back in the day in New York. Sony Wonder closed down in 2016. So sadly, some of y'all will never experience this. But Sony Wonder was that girl. If you're from New York, how many of these have you been to?
