Hook
Someone just moved out and gave me their keys so let's go take a look. Alright y'all. Ooh. It is toasty in here. Alright, hope girl left the AC off so we gonna make this real quick y'all. Alright. Coming through the front door. This is a two bedroom unit. So she didn't leave anything behind. In the washer or dryer, you know that's a no no so she's good to go there. Left the closet nice and empty. Something like this, we're not gonna charge her for something like this people do live in their apartment during their lease so we're very understanding of that. We won't charge for command hooks and things of that nature. I can already tell this is gonna be a super easy walkthrough. This is her second bathroom. Doesn't look like anyone ever used it. But hey, we're here. And then. This is the secondary bedroom. Again, doesn't look like anything was ever done in here. Nothing on the walls, no paint, no residue, no dirt, no nothing. Alright. Moving into the living room. I love this floor plan, it's so pretty. Look at all the natural lights. Alright. Same deal in here. It looks like she might have had something hung up here. We're not gonna charge her for something like this once again, people do live in their apartment and we understand that. Um, she didn't have anything mounted over here either, no TV, no nothing. An nice overview of the kitchen which looks pretty standard. Do we wanna make sure that no food or anything was left behind? So that's good to go. And then I'm gonna go through these cabinets and make sure they're empty as well. Just to make sure there's nothing that we need to trash. Alright, the cabinet is checked out. Um, back here. Same deal, nothing was hung on the wall, no curtains were ever hung up. Um, no paint. Um, nothing on the walls. Um, let me make sure these shelves are secure. Yep. Yep. And then the back. Um, the bathroom will round us out. Yeah. Obviously, we'll have to clean the unit, repaint it and all the things. But she's definitely getting that money back. Mhm, for sure. Move outs like this are easy for the leasing team and the maintenance team, but of course, for you as a resident because you get your money back when you leave the apartment like this. So if you're about to move out of your apartment, make sure you check in with the leasing office to see the condition of the apartment and how it should be left, schedule any walkthroughs that might be required, make sure you have an understanding of the charges tied to anything that's not left properly from the apartment. Um, and yeah, good luck to y'all if you're moving out. Stay tuned, I'll be back tomorrow for leasing tips Tuesdays. Bye y'all.
