There's a new way to play first generation Pokemon games and it blows my mind. We'll go from this. Start by typing in gen1recomp github. Head on over to the first link and download for your operating system. For Windows, we're gonna do this for Windows. But you can also install it for Android, Linux, iOS, all sorts of things. Then look up voxel mod. Head on over to releases and download that as well. Now it's gonna be a zip file, but you don't need to unzip it. Just leave it as is. Now boot up Gen 1 Recomp. And once booted, let's import our ROM. You're ready to add the mod if your game says good to go, a green play button down here. After that, click here for mods and click to import your mod zip. We'll select our Dramatic Shape mod and hit enter. Now that that's loaded up, we find ourselves inside the game. Menu. Go down to options. Voxel and turn. And once we can see the game now in 3D. And for an added bit of interest, change the colors to advanced. I don't know about you, but this is the only way I want to play Pokemon Red from now on.
