Being a med student I feel like whenever I'm not doing a million things at once I'm very lazy. Quite frankly even when I'm doing a million things at once I still feel lazy. And ignore what's going on here by the way I'm going through something. But I feel like ever since I got into med school I have this very odd feeling that I can never get everything I want to get done and it makes sense because realistically I have less time to do other things than study all the time. But after completing my first year of med school I do have to say it's really hard to reconcile with the fact that it's a completely different ball game than undergrad. Because when I was in undergrad my main priority wasn't just being a student if that makes sense. I was also working at one point I was working four part-time jobs at once. I had a bunch of extracurriculars. And now in med school quite frankly the main priority is to be a student. And then your extracurriculars, yeah, they're important and stuff. But you're student first. If that makes sense. You are also surrounded constantly by a bunch of type A people and even type B med student is type A to some extent. So it just feels like, comparatively, you're not doing enough, which is not healthy. Because realistically, it's like I'm not lazy. I know I'm not lazy. I just feel really lazy. And during the school year especially, but I should get better about talking about it because it's very negative to kind of just always think like that. Goal this year is to, it's so cheesy. Not only to be more positive, but to try to have a little bit more fun because I was so miserable in hindsight my first year. I hope I can get a better grip on things. At least until step one because God knows what's gonna happen.
