I accidentally achieved the perfect copper brown hair color in my opinion for my skin tone. The only problem is, is that it wasn't what I was going for. And so I don't hate this color by any long shot. It's a very good color. It's actually very close to a color I wanted when I was in college. I wanted like a copper penny brown kind of color, but I ended up going way more copper, which still at the time was a look. The thing is though, is that I just wanted brown hair. Like I just wanted a sandy kind of brown, not super golden or anything like that. Honestly, if it went golden, it would be fine. But I wanted like this tone that I've got going on, like this level of lightened because my hair was jet black at first. But I just wanted it to be brown. Like if you could subtract the red, that's the goal. But I'm very happy that my hair is still structurally intact. If you can see, like my curl pattern is still there. And this is typically what my curls look like when my hair is this length. So very glad about that. I'm just worried that if I try anything with my hair right now, it will give up on me. Because when I went to Sally's, the kind lady there, she recommended that I get a Wella color tanner in T14 or T18. I forgot which one, but one of the blonde ash ones. And that is supposed to be able to like take down the brassiness and the redness and make it more of a true brown, which I think maybe in a couple weeks, I'll attempt that. I just don't want to do too much because that also requires a developer. And I feel like within a week, my hair might just be like, 'Hey girl, calm down,' you know?
