Of course I'm going to show you. It's super easy to do. There's no secret in my chips, but they turn out perfect every time. I don't soak them first, I don't dry them, I do none of those things and they turn out perfect. Every time. You peel yourself potatoes, very obvious, but I use a Maris Piper potato. They work and make brilliant chips. You can use the red roasters, they're also brilliant. I peel with a knife. All you do is slice them all one way and then slice them all another. And get yourself some chips. Do not judge me, but this is my chip pan. It does not meet health and safety standards, but it makes great chips. Fill the pot about a third of the way up with vegetable oil. I put it on to heat. I don't let it get to too certain temperature as it has come up and you can put your hand over the top and feel heat from it. Slide in your chips like so. Give them a stir around and set your timer for five minutes. Do not touch them for five minutes. The five minute timer size, I will stir them again. And then after every three minutes, stir them every three minutes until your chips are floating to the surface and have started to turn golden brown. Scoop them all out of the hot oil into a bowl. There we go. The most perfect chips. I'll put salt on. You can put vinegar on separately. Look at the chip. Perfectly crisp on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside. Perfect chips every time. Butter yourself a big bread. And then put your chips on the side. And then put your beans on the side. There we go. The perfect chips.
