And God still called David a man after my own heart. Does that mean God excused what David did? Absolutely not. David faced consequences for his sin. But here's what people miss. Failure doesn't disqualify your purpose. Repentance changed his some of y'all have convinced yourselves that one mistake cancelled everything God called you to do. It didn't. The enemy wants you to believe that your first decision gets the final say. It doesn't. God's grace is bigger than your past. If God can restore David after all of that, don't tell me he can't restore you. Your past may explain you, but it doesn't have to define you.
