The best procrastination advice I can give you as someone who is uh quite literally a lifelong chronic procrastinator, okay, and I still have issues with it present day, like I'm even having problems with it today. All right. Is you need to start, okay? Start the task, start the project, whatever, in a tiny way, okay? So maybe let's say you're redoing your resume. Instead of, you know, opening the doc and doing it all at once like a normal person because for some reason, people who have this mental affliction, like myself, it literally seems like this very daunting kind of impossible task that you want to avoid at all costs, okay? Like you will literally be vacuuming the walls before you redo your resume, right? To try to feel productive, but you're not getting that one thing done that you need to get done. Okay? So what you need to do is you need to start the task in a tiny way that's not going to seem super daunting to you, but it's going to get the ball rolling so you're actually like, oh, okay, it's not that bad. It's just this task and like I can handle this, right? It's actually not this huge mountain I thought I had to climb. Um, it's more like, um, maybe a, a bunny hill at a ski place, like it's really not that bad, okay? So for example, um, make some bullet points of what you want to change on your resume. Download the resume template you want to use, okay? Then you're like, whoa, well, all I have to do is type this stuff in and then I'm basically done, right? But if you just sit there mulling over it for hours and hours and hours, I mean, it's like, you know, ironically of me to say this, right? But truly the hardest part is starting. Because once you start, like I've seen, you know, many posts on here where people are like, oh my god, literally this task that I've been putting off for three months took 20 minutes. You know, starting is the hardest part. So if you can find a way to start without really like letting that anxiety ridden part of your brain know, then that is the key. If you can find a way to start it really quick without kind of like letting that anxiety ridden part of your brain know, then that is the key.
