I've taken every single Pilates class you can think of. So I kind of wanted to talk to you guys a little bit about each one and my favorites and what I saw the best results from and what I would skip. I know that classes are expensive and you don't want to be wasting your money on something that's not gonna change your body. I've tried all of them for an extended period of time and these are the results. These are the results. Let's get into it. Disclaimer. I was a swimmer growing up. I've done the hit workouts, I've done the weight training, I've done the really hard cardio running. I've done everything. And I switched to lower impact workouts because that's what I wanted for me and my lifestyle. I'm not saying don't lift weights or don't do anything. This is literally just a video of me talking about Pilates because I'm a Pilates girl and I love it. So, disclaimer. Reformer Pilates. So these are like your very small, simple machines. I've had two or three different memberships at studios like this and it just didn't challenge me in the way I like to be challenged. I had never done any Pilates up until that point and it was kind of fun, but it just never got more difficult and the modifications like there's only so far you can go, I feel like. And it just wasn't hard enough for me. I didn't I didn't love it personally. Next, um, mat classes. So let's do classical Pilates first. I love classical Pilates. I think it's great. Is it in my normal routine? No. I think it's a really nice foundation for anybody starting out and, you know, there's like the core five exercises that they do every single class. I love it. I think it's a great foundation, especially if you're trying to work on your form or just kind of get your foot in the door of like what is Pilates. I think it's great. I don't personally do it right now. And that's not what caused me to see the most changes in my body. Sculpt classes. So these kind of are a fusion of lots of different things. They're a fusion of Pilates, bar, yoga, all these different things, which is why I'm including them. I love sculpt. I love it. Um, a lot of them have a little cardio burst in there. They are very difficult. Um, my, personally, the ones that I do are heated. I've also done non-heated. Um, those are also great at kicking your ass. They're in my weekly routine. I'm obsessed. I feel really strong. Um, and the ones that I do them, I feel like they've really built up my endurance. And last one I'm gonna talk about in this video, um, this is my absolute favorite thing ever on the planet Earth. The only thing that has given me visible abs. Some places will call it modern Pilates. It's not Pilates. It's its very much its own thing. I prefer to do it on a megaformer. So if you're gonna do it, I would find a studio near you that has a mega. Smaller reformers also work just the same. But, you know, that's just personal preference. They all work. They all work. It is, um, weight training. You're pushing weight. It's really hard. It's very slow. You will feel the shakes. It sucks. It's horrible. But I've been doing it for three years now and it's so addictive. I can't. I can't stop doing it. I'm like, Oh my god. These are just my thoughts and my opinions. I know that everybody has their own. Um, these are just my experiences with all the kinds that I've done. So, yeah.
