Hot take : I hate seeing a new studio open with cheap reformers If you are buying cheap Pilates reformers, stop. First stop calling yourself a luxury studio. Please buy real equipment. Please make sure they have real springs that are not flimsy. Please make sure the straps are nice. Please make sure the foot bar is not this thin. It's really frustrating seeing these new studios with really bad equipment. Really bad. Because once a person who does Pilates or is an instructor or is been in the business, if they see that I'm already discrediting your studio, no matter what kind of teachers you have. Like, I just feel like someone who knows Pilates and respects Pilates wouldn't buy those cheap reformers for their clients. And especially on top of that, call it a luxury experience. If you are buying those reformers to save money, then I'm assuming your classes should also reflect the fact that you have cheap performers. They should be nowhere near the 40 dollar price tag. I think if you're buying these cheap performers, a fair price would be 20 bucks.
