Time for a new propagation experiment! 🌱 This time I’m seeing if the colour of the jar makes a difference to how quickly cuttings root and how strong the roots are. I took 4 neon pothos cuttings, filled up the clear glass and brown glass jars with filtered water, then put 2 pothos cuttings in each jar to give a fairer result. The results? After 1 week the brown glass jars propagation had larger roots growing on both cuttings compared to smaller roots growing on the clear glass jar propagations. After 2 weeks both propagations had good roots, but the brown glass jar cuttings were stronger, longer and had 3 roots vs 2 on the clear glass jar propagations. I’d say brown glass is a clear winner!
