How to propagate pilea (or Chinese money plant) from pups 🌱 I love my pilea plants and I also love how easy it is to propagate! The plant at the beginning is actually two propagations from my original pilea mama plant. 1. Locate the pups on the pilea, these will look like mini versions of the main plant in the soil 2. Gently dig around the stem of the pup, go as deep as you can into the soil 3. Once you find the bottom of the pup, gently pull up out of the soil 4. At this point you can clean the pup and propagate in water, or you can put them directly in soil if it already has some roots. 5. Pop the pup into well draining soil in a pot with good drainage. Top up with soil until it's secure. 6. Give it a good water and wait for it to grow! #plantparent #PlantTok #houseplant #houseplants #pilea
