So I figured out what was wrong with my sad monstera… I’d been keeping an eye on the bottom of the pot so I knew when to repot it, but there’s weren’t too many poking out so I thought there was no way it could be too root bound. I was WRONG. Look at that forbidden ramen! Everyone in the comments said to put it in water but I didn’t know how to even start with that with the roots as they were. So I put it in a bigger pot with fresh soil, gave it a soak with plant food and I’m hoping for the best! I may still chop, prop and put the cutting in water but we’ll see how it gets on. I'd kept an eye on it and there wasn't too many roots poking out the pot I can't explain so I didn't think there was any chance of it being too root bound well, I was wrong look at that forbidden ramen! it's on my mind I started questioning my life choices but then got to work everyone in the comments said to put it in water but I had no idea how to even do that with the roots as they were so I decided a bigger pot and more soil was the best solution I didn't separate the roots, just popped it in and topped up with soil then gave it a soak with some plant food hopefully it makes a bit of a recovery!
