This year I've made it a goal to restock all of my classic styles to the shop and today we're working on our solid color hoop earrings specifically the robin's egg blue and lavender. I've been really bad about keeping our hoop colors in stock and honestly I don't know the last time these two were in stock. But I've been trying to look out for future Hannah and set myself up for success. So I've made it a goal to make a total of 75 pairs of our XL size, 21 pairs of our classic size of each color and 26 pairs of our mini size of each color. So that's a ton of hoops. And I'm actually wanting to add new colors, so that's going to be a whole another ordeal. The process is actually pretty simple. You start off by mixing up your colors because I knew this was going to be such a big batch. I made a ton of both colors. And then I roll up my clay and stick it into my Lucy clay extruder. It is my absolute favorite tool that I own. I extrude the clay out and then I measure it based on the size of hoop I'm making. So I have three different lengths, since I have three different sizes of hoops that I offer. I wrap them around metal guides so that they can bake that way and the shape won't warp. I bake them for 50 minutes at 275 degrees Fahrenheit. Then straight out of the oven, I cut them so that they can be a hoop earring. I attach posts with super glue and once the glue is dried, I secure the posts with UV resin. And I'm happy to say the robin's egg blue and lavender hoops are fully restocked in every size. Now I just got to work on the other seven colors.
