It's a very exciting day friends. Today we are working on one of my very favorite styles for summer. In case you haven't already guessed from the colors we're using or the design of my nails, we are making bees today. I have been a bee lover girl for as long as I can remember. There were bees on my childhood bedding. I did my AP research paper on colony collapse disorder. I just love them. Which if you know me is really strange because I have a fear of most insects. But bees are one of the exceptions. Especially bumblebees or carpenter bees because they are so cute and chunky and fluffy. And those ones that are really docile, so it's very unlikely that they'll sting you. They're just pollinating and doing their thing. My son was a bee for Halloween last year. He was just a perfect little angel. Moral of the story is bees make me happy and I created these earrings for the other bee lover girls out there. They're available in my shop now.
