First thing there are gonna be some days where you talk a lot, Facetime literally all day. And there are gonna be some days where there is little to no communication. You both need to be okay with that. It's not gonna work if one of you is fine with it and the other one isn't. Number two, people always say don't argue over the phone, that's not good. Meet up in person. That's kind of your only option sometimes and you need to be okay with that. You need to learn how to communicate your feelings through Facetime calls, texting, learning how to get through an argument without having to meet up with each other. Number three, you guys need to communicate your love languages and make your significant other feel loved. Because being long distance, it's super super tricky. But it's possible because my boyfriend does it and I do it for him. Number four, communication. Okay, I think this varies with every partner. Some people like to know what their partner is doing all the time. Some people just wanna be updated throughout the day, and some people don't care at all. I think you need to know what your partner wants, what you want, and communicate that with each other. Communication is key. I will say that a thousand times more. And last but not least, number five. It is important to change things up. There was a time where me and Jared found ourselves only talking to each other like, good morning, what are you doing today? Sounds good. How was your day? Good night. And it wasn't fun. Being long distance, you can't really surprise the significant other as much. But I know there are ways to keep things fun. I know long distance can be really hard, but I wouldn't change my relationship for the world.
