English just slapped cheese and onion on bread. Why is this good? Today we're here in Leicester to try what's supposed to be the most famous cob they have in the city. We're here at the Blue Boar. Let's go inside, look at this masterpiece. So this is it right here, the cheese and onion cob. It's literally just bread, big old thing of onion and a big old block of cheese. It's only £2.50 though, which I feel like the price is pretty great. I feel like this is what Americans always see when they talk about British food is something like this. We'll try it out here we go, cheese and onion. It's actually better than I thought it was gonna be because the cheese is so good and I love cheese and onion throwing that on bread, it's heavenly. I think the only thing if I was at home that I might throw on there would be like Colman's mustard or something, but I'm gonna do another bite. For £2.50, I'd probably come in here and get pissed and go through about two of these. You're not gonna reinvent the wheel with this, but when you're sitting here drinking a couple pints, I can see the appeal. Don't be hating on the Leicester cob, don't be a cob sh*te. I feel like my fellow countrymen at home will judge me, but something about bread, butter, cheese and onion just works. It was good, I'd eat it again.
