We truly couldn’t do this without you💛 Every donation. Every prayer. Every encouraging message. Every share. Every person who has followed Birdie’s journey and chosen to be a part of it… you got her here!! Birdie is safe. She’s happy. She’s the same sill and affectionate girl we dropped off for surgery just with a brand new future ahead of her✨🥲 Now the real work begins!! Recovery won’t happen overnight, but if there’s one thing we know about this little girl, it’s that she has never let anything stop her! We absolutely cannot wait to watch her learn this new body and discover everything she’s capable of💕 As for us, Birdie and I (Alli) are heading up to Lake Tahoe, where we’ll spend the next few weeks helping her recover🌊🏔️ Nick will meet us in a few days after tackling some maintenance on the rescue rig (the behind the scenes work that keeps this mission rolling!) Thank you for believing in Birdie!! Thank you for believing in rescue & for making it possible for us to keep saying yes to the next dog who needs us! Here’s to the next chapter, sweet girl.
