This is why we charge $20,000 to clean a house that already looked clean! Now, I know what you're thinking... "Why would anyone spend $20,000 cleaning a house that didn't even look dirty?" Here's the thing! Most people think if a house looks clean... then it is clean! But after cleaning homes for the past 10 years that's completely WRONG! When we first walked into this home... Everything seemed great! The floors were shiny... The kitchen and bathrooms looked spotless! But once we started checking the places most people never look... We found problem after problem! First, the kitchen cabinets! From the front, they looked clean! But once we climbed up and took a closer look at the top... They were covered in a thick layer of grease that had probably not been cleaned in YEARS! Then, the kitchen light fixtures! From the floor, they looked clean... But once we took them apart We found dust... grease and build up hiding inside! Next, we opened the dishwasher! The inside looked clean... But when we removed the filter it was filled with old food... and residue! Then, we checked the kitchen sink! The surface looked shiny... But there was grime around the corners of the faucet! We also cleaned underneath the refrigerator where we found layers of dust and pet hair! that the previous homeowners had left behind! Next, we moved to the doors and walls! They looked fine from far away but up close... they were covered in fingerprints... marks and residue! The windows looked clean too but the tracks were full of dirt and every blind had a layer of dust sitting on it! Then the high areas! The ceiling air vents were clean But once we removed the ceiling fan light fixtures... We found dust and dead bugs hiding inside! Now, the bathrooms! The shower glass looked clear from far away but up close... it was covered in hard water stains and soap scum! We had to use a razor blade and a polisher until the glass looked PRISTINE! After cleaning the bathtub jets with vinegar and baking soda YEARS of mold came out! The bathroom fan looked clean on the outside but once we removed the cover... It was packed with dust! We had to use a straw brush and a vacuum to remove it all! Even the bathroom sink looked spotless! Until we opened the drain and found hair... soap... and mold hiding inside! Finally, we steam mopped all of the floors! Even though they had already been cleaned The steam pulled dirt from the corners and edges! that our regular mop had completely missed! That's when we knew this house wasn't really clean! it was only clean on the surface! and that's the mistake most people make! A regular cleaning makes a house look clean!
