This homeowner was another victim of the... 5 hours - $800 deep cleaning scam! She had just bought a house that hadn't been properly deep cleaned in over 3 YEARS! and she wanted a deep clean before moving in SO! She called us for a quote after hearing the condition of the home and everything she wanted done we quoted her just under $5,000 "$5,000?!" "That's way too expensive!" I don't blame her... But! After spending the last 10 years detailing homes I already knew exactly what that house was going to need! Instead, another company promised they could deep clean the entire house in just 5 hours for $800! It sounded like a great deal for her... SO! She hired them instead... A few hours after they finished she reached up to her kitchen cabinets and her hand came back covered in grease! That's when she called us! When we walked through the house we realized the grease was actually the least of the problems! The shower drain was still packed with YEARS of hair SO! We completely disassembled it scrubbed every piece... and sanitized it before putting it back together! The chandelier had never been taken apart SO! We removed every glass piece hand clean them and reassemble the entire fixture! The stair railing was coated with YEARS of hand oils and grime! SO! They scam you by calling it a deep clean When they're really just doing a regular cleaning a little deeper! The truth is... There is no possible way to properly deep clean an entire house in 5 hours! PRISTINE! deep clean takes days! You have to pull appliances out... disassemble fixtures... cleaning inside drains... scrub grout... polish glass... that's what takes the time! and that's why the cheapest deep clean it's often the most expensive mistake!
