Since everybody was up in arms about what I suggest that I skip in Ireland, I think we should talk about the things that I definitely would not recommend skipping in Ireland. First of all, you just have to go to Dingle. I know everybody says it, but until you're there, until you soak it up, you really can't grasp how beautiful that town is. You have to do it. Spend at least two nights there. I spent one night there and I wish I did too. Sorry, my neighbor came out and I got all awkward. Second thing, definitely do not skip when you go to Ireland is Galway. I didn't think I needed to go to Galway because I was like, well, if I'm going to Dublin, why do I need to see like another big city? No. Galway is so special. It is nothing like Dublin. I mean, yes, there's tourists there, but it felt so much more authentic, local. There's a college there, so there's a lot of kids around, brings the energy up. It was just incredible. I would highly recommend again, another two nights in Galway if you can. Third, staying in a castle truly is magical. Like, I didn't think I needed to because I was like, oh, we have cool Airbnbs or hotels will be nice. No, the castle experience was unlike anything else. You need to spend time on the grounds there too. So don't just plan on coming in, dropping your bags and going and doing touristy stuff. Like actually give yourself time to explore the grounds and relax a little. You're definitely gonna need it. Last thing, something that I loved was going back to Dingle. There is a toasties shop on the corner. I'll put a picture or the name of it here. It was the best toasties I had my entire trip. And I know everyone hypes these up, so finding one that you want to go back to three times in two days is saying something.
