Okay, so no hate, no shade to the person who commented this. So I'm glad that you actually asked this because I want to address this. Concerned for his safety. They don't have a pool fence. They have had a pool at their dad's house for two years. Sons were five and two when they got that pool and neither of my kids could swim. Drowning is the number one cause of death of children ages one through four in the United States for ages one through four. McConnely is four and they still don't have a pool fence. My husband, their stepdad, spent the entire summer of 2024 and 2025 teaching them how to swim. And now Matt can swim very proficiently. McConnely is still in a life jacket. But Pat went to ANS, assessment and selection, to be a Raider. He got a knee injury, he was not selected. My kids, their dad can barely pass basic swim qual on the Marine Corps. And they have no pool fence. She's pregnant. They have a one-year-old daughter, they have my four-year-old and they have my seven-year-old at home with a pool with no fence around it. And you tell me, is it safety concern or is it control? Pick me. I have the answer. It was never about safety. It was always about control. Because if you care about your kids' safety, you would have taught them to swim or put a pool fence around your pool. But you've done none of those things. Your stepdad is the one who taught them life-saving measures to prevent them from drowning. I hope that helps.
