The sweet-salty finish might be the best part of a chocolate chip cookie. @maldonsaltus sea salt is one of my favorites for cookies because those large, delicate flakes give you little hits of salt against the brown sugar, butter and chocolate without making the whole cookie taste salty. I add mine before baking so it gets baked right into the top of the cookie instead of half of those beautiful flakes ending up on the plate. If you haven’t tried flaky sea salt on your chocolate chip cookies yet, this is your sign. Save this for your next batch of cookies, and follow for more pastry chef tips that actually make a difference. #baking #bakingtips #chocolatechipcookies #cookies #bakingtipsandtricks
