My name is Joey. I'm 17 years old, and I cooked dinner for my family because my mom is no longer with us. Tonight, I'm making chicken marinara pasta and garlic breadsticks on the side. First, I'm adding some water to the pot on the stove. Then I'm salting the water. And now that it's basically boiling, I'm adding a pound of rigatoni, and I'm gonna let that cook for about 13 minutes. Now I'm trying to cut my chicken in half. I don't really know the best way to do this, so we're just gonna go like that. Now I'm adding three eggs to a large dish, or eggshells, I guess. Then I just whisk my eggs together with a fork. And this video is not sponsored, but I was sent some seasonings by the Fire and Smoke Society. Um, so today I'm going to mix their crispy Italian and their crispy chicken seasoned bread crumbs together. Now I'm adding chicken to the egg at once because I don't the back and forth. And I'm mixing up all the, sure that it's all coated with egg. Take each piece of chicken and dip it into the bread crumbs, pressing down so that it's completely coated on both sides. And then I'm over to a bowl. Once my pasta was done cooking, I strained it. I almost forgot. I want to reserve a cup of the pasta water. I have my Dutch oven on medium high heat, and I'm gonna add some olive oil. Now that my oil is hot, I'm going to place a couple pieces of chicken in. And I'm gonna just a couple minutes on each side until they reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit. Three or four, I'm gonna flip it. My chicken is reading over 165, so I'm gonna take them off the heat. I also don't want my oil to burn, so I'm gonna add more neutral oil, I'm using avocado oil. I'm also going to make these garlic breadsticks. I do them in the air fryer at 325°F for six minutes. Now I'm cleaning out my pan. More avocado oil, and I'm gonna add one onion that I cut up earlier. And I'm just cooking these until they begin to soften, maybe like three minutes. Then I'm gonna add a 24 ounce jar of marinara sauce. I'm gonna use the cup of pasta water to help get all of the sauce out of the jar and to loosen it up. To that, I'm gonna add a pinch of celery seed and some garlic powder because I don't like messing with whole garlic cloves. My phone died, but I mixed the pasta water together. Now I'm adding half a pound of fresh shredded mozzarella, along with a half cup of pre grated parmesan. Now I'm mixing this together. Then I'm gonna add in my cooked pasta.
