This is the best way to use your Chase points this month. This is the best use of Chase points right now. We're talking life flat business class to Europe for 50,000 points, direct flights to Tokyo for the same price. You may have seen that Chase has a 20% bonus to Air Canada, but you can actually use your points on a ton of other airlines. This website, Seats.aero, will literally show you only flights that accept Air Canada points, aka your Chase points. You select Explore and then filter by Air Canada only. On the next page, you'll enter your home airport, JFK for this example, and then for destination, I'm going with Europe. For those life flat seats, you're going to look at the business column only and then right off the bat, you see a direct flight to Geneva that's only going to cost you 60,000 points, or only 50,000 after the Chase transfer bonus. For reference, that flight to Geneva is going to retail for over $3,200 on United or Swiss Air, who are actually operating the flight. Same process for those Tokyo flights. You just select Asia for the destination and here you can see both Tokyo and South Korea for 50,000 points. Now you just create that free Aeroplan account on aircanada.com, transfer those points by going to your Chase Ultimate Rewards portal, click on more, transfer points to partners, and then click on Aeroplan and then follow the instructions. You can also transfer your points to other partners like United, Air France, KLM, and a ton of other airlines.
