I FINALLY upgraded

I FINALLY upgraded MY CAMERA I upgraded to the SONY ZV-E1 and I don't think I can ever go back. I started with the SONY ZV-E10 but a couple months ago I purchased the SONY ZV-E1 and I wanted to share my honest thoughts of it so far. why did I upgrade to the SONY ZV-E1? Okay, so the biggest thing for me and the main reason I upgraded to the ZV-E1 is the low light performance. 1. LOW LIGHT PERFORMANCE It is for sure a game changer. Just a few weeks ago, I shot the New York City the bts: skyline in the evening the shot: and it was just wowed by how crisp my footage still looked. I was really hyped about this because before I got this camera, I normally would avoid shooting anytime after sunset. The second thing I've been loving about the ZV-E1 2. DYNAMIC ACTIVE STABILIZATION I don't own a gimbal and I was considering getting one, but since getting this camera, I feel like I don't need it. With this camera, I'm able to walk and shoot and the footage still looks relatively smooth. So it's for sure great when I'm like running around the city, kind of on the move, trying to get as many shots as possible. And the third thing that I love about this camera is it 3. SHOOTS IN 10-BIT COLOR shoots in 10-bit color, which if you're into color grading at all, you're going to notice a significant difference here. I shoot in S-Log3 and color grade in DaVinci Resolve and I noticed I've just been able to push the colors way further than before. one downside of the SONY ZV-E1 If I had to note the one main downside about the ZV-E1, it's the OVERHEATING :( It's actually a pretty well-known issue for the camera experienced this firsthand. It hasn't been a deal breaker for me personally because most of what I shoot are like shorter clips, but if you're planning to do a lot of long-form talking head content, you should definitely keep this in mind. But overall, I'm genuinely happy with this purchase. If you're just starting out with creating cinematic content, I would still recommend the SONY ZV-E10 filmed on zv-e10: pretty great footage. But if you're at a point where you're ready to upgrade and you want better low light performance, smoother handheld shots, and more flexibility when color grading, I highly recommend the ZV-E1.
