I gained 20,000 followers on TikTok in three months. For the first two years that I was on BookTok, I had amassed 8,000 followers, which was still such an incredible number. But over the span of three months, I have gained 20,000 more followers. And in these last few months where I feel like my content has just boomed, so I've had so many people asking me what equipment I use, software I edit videos. I want to make a preface that I do not think that anybody needs any of this stuff whatsoever. As I said, I've been doing this for two years with just my phone, filming on my back camera. She was absolutely amazing. I absolutely love filming on my phone. The problem is my phone ran out of storage very quickly. I couldn't film and I couldn't edit. So I decided to save up over those two years and then finally invest some equipment. I realized something that I actually wanted to pursue. But I decided that I wanted to switch and start making YouTube content as well. So I needed something with a lot more storage and something with a bit better quality. So I decided to do a lot of research into what camera I wanted. And I ended up getting the Sony ZV-E10. My Sony ZV-E10 is my baby. I love this camera. I work with all my heart. The only problem is vlogging out and about, it is a bit shaky. It doesn't have the best stabilization. But I don't really film out and about, so that is fine for me. The stuff that I use with my camera is minimal. This tiny little thing. I genuinely think the best investment I've ever made. Before you get a camera, get a good mic. People love it. This is the DJI Mic Mini. Then the second thing I have is this light which I attach onto my camera because my filming spot hasn't got the best lighting. So I have this little portable light. So next piece of equipment I use is this tripod. I originally used a tripod that came with this like ring light. And I used that when I was filming on my phone. But then when I changed to my camera, it was not stable enough. It didn't go tall enough. So then I invested in this one. And this is absolutely incredible. What it can do is this. That is one of the most useful things, especially if you want to film YouTube and TikToks. It is very simple, just to change the orientation. And it is very sturdy. But that is all of the equipment and software that I use to edit.
