Hydration ≠ heavy skincare 💧#laneige_partner Had such a fun time hosting the LANEIGE Wonder Lab Masterclass, where we talked all things skin barrier, hydration + the science behind some of LANEIGE’s most iconic formulas—from Cream Skin Milky Toner to Water Bank Cream and, of course, the Lip Sleeping Mask. Loved getting to nerd out on the skincare science while everyone tested the routine in real time. Thank you @laneige_us for having me! AD #skinhydration #milkytoner #kbeauty

hi everyone I'm here in LA and I just hosted such a fun master class with Laneige where I shared some of my favorite barrier care tips as a dermatologist the very first thing I had everyone unlearn effective hydration doesn't have to feel heavy and that's one of the things I love about Korean formulation science and Laneige we started with the Cream Skin Milky Toner Mist what makes this different from a traditional toner is that it uses microblending technology to give you the barrier supporting benefits of a cream including ceramides and peptides but in this incredibly lightweight milky mist I love it because you're getting that nourishing layer without your skin feeling coated or weighted down then we went in with the Water Bank Cream which uses micro size blue hyaluronic acid that's 2000 times smaller than regular hyaluronic acid the smaller size allows it to absorb more quickly and deeply helping skin hold on to hydration without having to rely on a really heavy formula so you get that long lasting hydration but it still feels light on the skin for lips the Lip Sleeping Mask is still one of my favorites your lips don't have oil glands like the rest of your skin so supporting that moisture barrier is so important it deeply nourishes while gently smoothing away flaky skin so your lips feel soft and smooth afterwards and one of my absolute favorite launches of this year is the Cream Skin Milky Hydration Sheet Mask it has five times the ceramides and peptides of the original Cream Skin Milky Toner and the skin looks and stays hydrated for up to 24 hours after you take it off my biggest takeaway from the master class good barrier care isn't about finding the thickest moisturizer it's all about smart formulations that help your skin hold on to hydration without all the heaviness
