these school supplies are ESSENTIAL for college! coming from someone going into their second year at UCSD :) I'm not even going school supply shopping this year because I have everything from last year that works. So let's go through it. Starting off strong, you need some type of technology, whether that be a laptop or an iPad. If you get an iPad, you can get a keyboard case so that you can use it as a laptop as well. Next, I have folder(s). I had one and this is what it looks like after last year, I haven't cleared it out yet. Having just like a single folder to keep those random papers that you don't want to throw out is super helpful. You definitely going to need some sort of pencil case and writing utensils at some point. In here I kept a mini thing of post-its, a mini white out, some dry erase markers, some colorful pens, some highlighters, plenty of black pens and then also a few mechanical pencils. But I went through so many black pens. So definitely make sure to bring those. Headphones as a student is a must. Any sort of headphones you need. This might not be for everybody, but I love having a physical planner. This is an example of what it looks like on the inside. A water bottle is key. This is the one that I had last year and I loved it. And finally for like a backpack. Honestly, for the big college campuses, walking across campus with just like a shoulder bag weighing you down is not fun. So I would recommend a backpack. But honestly, I feel like those are all of the school supplies that you'll need as a college student. Obviously can depend on your personal experience. But those are what I would recommend.
