YouTube is doubling its requirements for new creators to start earning money 📱💰 YouTube is making it significantly harder for new creators to earn advertising and Premium revenue through its Partner Programme. From 1 February 2027, creators will need 8,000 valid watch hours in 12 months, double the current 4,000. Alternatively, Shorts creators will need 20 million valid views in 90 days, up from 10 million. The requirement of 1,000 subscribers will remain unchanged. YouTube says the changes are designed to reward creators who consistently build an audience rather than relying on a single viral hit. Existing creators already in the programme will not have to meet the new entry thresholds. For aspiring YouTubers, however, the barrier to earning money from their content is about to become considerably higher. #ThisIsMoney #Money #News #UK
