Basically, if a video has been out for less than 7 days from a creator with 500 to 500,000 subscribers, you can hype it. And the more hype it gets, the higher it climbs on a new leaderboard for the top 100 hype videos of the week. When viewers hype your videos, your videos earn points. This is important. This can potentially put you in front of a whole new audience, and they're even adding a small creator bonus for channels that have less subscribers.
