Why do your AirPods have this annoying charging problem where one is fully charged and the other is completely dead? I've owned every single pair of AirPods in existence and this has happened with every single one of them. And it drives me insane. But I've discovered the main reasons why this happens. So there's really only two possibilities. In the case or on the AirPods. So as you can see on the AirPod right here, on the bottom metal, you have these two metal prongs and basically what that does is it contacts with a part inside of your case and it charges the AirPods from the bottom. So there's only two places where this can go wrong. In the case or on the AirPods. So two strategies that I've employed to fix this problem are: Oftentimes you just this gets dirty. The bottom part of the AirPod, the metal prongs, so just cleaning the bottom of the AirPod is enough to make it start charging again. The second option is you have this section down here. If you have a lot of gunk down in your AirPods, yeah, it'll stop charging. So you can either put something down there to try and clean it out, which can be a little bit sketchy. But if you're able to just kind of like scrape off those prongs on the bottom, that'll usually help you. Like if I'm in a sticky situation and I need these to work and they haven't been working, usually what I'll do is I'll just jam right, wiggle them around inside the case just like this. Generally that gets all the gunk off that's making it not charging properly.
