what is Tom Nook's Letterboxd top four films? my name's May, I play Animal Crossing and I've seen over 5,000 films so this is just an excuse to recommend you four of them. No. 1, the Color of Money. Apart from the obvious title, this is directed by Martin Scorsese, starring Paul Newman and Tom Cruise. It's all about hustling people at a pool table in order to get money. It's very much about a mentor and a mentee. And I feel like Tom Nook in his early life had a mentor, but he also at the same time, he is a mentor and a mentee to Timmy and Tommy. Also this film, incredible, the performances are amazing. I definitely recommend it. No. 2, The Founder. This stars Michael Keaton and it's about the invention of McDonald's. Tom Nook is a businessman for Nook Inc. This film depicts the whole businessman mentality, building something from the ground up. I don't give too much away, but Michael Keaton's character compared to Nick Offerman's character is giving Tom Nook. And honestly, I just see Tom Nook with this, this is how I win. I still reference this screenshot all the time. And honestly, just see Tom Nook with this, this is how I win. If you've not seen Uncut Gems, check it out. No. 3, Uncut Gems. This is also one of my favorite films of all time. Directed by the Safdie Brothers starring Adam Sandler, set in the New York diamond district. Again, that hustle and hustle mentality and of course, this iconic, this is how I win. I still reference this screenshot all the time. And honestly, just see Tom Nook with this, this is how I win. If you've not seen Uncut Gems, check it out. No. 4, The Pursuit of Happyness. This is a classic Will Smith and Jaden Smith, which is giving me the whole Timmy and Tommy, but I also feel like Will Smith's character, his journey, will literally do anything for his son. And Tommy, they're not related. That whole mentee, mentor, color of money, Tom Nook is not just loan shark vibes. Pursuit of Happyness perfectly captures his personality.
