Let me tell you a few of the most unhinged things I did to save my first £10k. So the first thing I did, and this is so rogue and quite scary actually, so the days that I would go into the office, I would pre-top up my Oyster card and I would pack a lunch from home and I would keep all of my bank cards at home and I would remove my bank cards from my Apple Pay. So I physically had no money and no means of paying for anything else than getting to and from work. And I know that sounds really rogue, but it works for a little bit until I built the financial discipline to bring my cards with me and not spend on it. Second thing I did was if I wanted to buy something unnecessary, I would put the same amount of money into savings. So that really deterred me from buying things that I didn't need because if I wanted to buy a cheeky lip gloss, £10, then I would have to put I would buy the £10 lip gloss and then put £10 into my savings. And then the third thing, it's not as unhinged, but I literally got obsessed with Vinted. Like I sold everything that I didn't need. I was like, yep, you're going on Vinted, you're going on Vinted, you're going on Vinted. And I managed to make a decent amount of money from it. I was just selling things for cheap, but I would have thrown them away otherwise.
