I really need yall to stop trying to associate OCD with being a PDF. So the video she's referring to is a video from a man named Funky Dyneva who said he feels bad for people who wake up and are attracted to kids. And then he says I'm not talking about the people who act on it, just the people who wake up and know that they have an attraction towards children. And you know so many people in her comments telling her she was wrong, she's uneducated, she needs to educate herself because what about people with OCD? Now I completely understand intrusive thoughts and how they work, but I need y'all to understand that intrusive thoughts are not the same as having an attraction towards a child. And when you associate being a pedophile or being attracted to kids with having OCD or having ADHD, what you're actually doing is adding more stigmatization onto those mental illnesses. Like mental health is already stigmatized enough without certain diagnosis or certain disorders being associated with being a pedophile. Like it's not the same. And intrusive thoughts are accompanied by feelings of guilt and disgust because you know that those thoughts are wrong. That's not what he was talking about.
