I know that many of you have been waiting for an update so here it is. It has been weeks now. Yes, he is one of the most severe cases we have ever rescued, but I wanted to show you how he is doing after his lower jaw surgery. He looks today. As you can see, the lower part of his jaw had to be removed because it was completely destroyed. If you notice, he is in much less pain now. Something very interesting happened after the surgery. When it's time to eat, he licks his food with great eagerness. He also no longer needs an IV drip. And as you can see, he can stand up. It is deeply moving to see him like this. Look at his tongue now. It's doing practically all the work. We hope he will be able to adapt to this new life, as losing part of his jaw is a massive change. When he eats, his tongue is what carries the food into his mouth, which is why he will need to eat only wet food for the rest of his life. Regarding the lower jaw, the vet explained that it is still a bit soft, but it will harden and heal over time. Even after everything he has been through, Warrior continues to show an incredible will to live. We hope to prolong his life and give him all the care and affection he deserves. Since he is not like other dogs, he will require more time, attention, and special care. He is getting stronger every day. The vet believes that in two or three days, he will be able to start eating on his own. So we will see if he can feed himself without help. You can see the lower jaw to follow for now. He is progressing very well, and we truly hope he keeps improving. So much for you next time.
