Rim Tanon's Mango Sticky Rice was good but what about their food? I'm back at Rim Tanon to try the Houston Restaurant Week menu. I got started with the Thai Jasmine Green Tea, 9.2 out of 10. For the appetizer, I got the chicken wings, really good sweetness and garlic flavor, 9 out of 10. For the entree, I got the Crying Tiger Steak. Obviously, the sticky rice that was served with it was good. For me, this is like soy garlic with steak. Obviously, the sticky rice was good. 7.9 out of 10 for me. Rim Tanon Satay $10.95 7.1 out of 10. Pad Kee Mao $16 This Khao Soi was fire, not too saucy, good beef and perfect noodles. 9.4 out of 10. Khao Soi $17 I didn't order the Khao Soi but my friend demolished this. We ended our meal with these fire lychee shots, 10 out of 10. Mango Shaved Ice 8.5/10 Coconut Ice Cream 7/10 Mango Sticky Rice 8.8/10 Desserts were gas. Coconut ice cream 7 out of 10. I'm not a huge fan of papaya salad but I thought this was good, 8 out of 10. This might have been my favorite, the chive pancake, 9.5 out of 10. This beef skewer was a bit dry, 7.1 out of 10.
