I'm on the hunt for the best mango sticky rice in Houston. This is where I've been so far in the rankings. Street Food Thai Market was by far the most suggested place to go to, so I had to come here next. I reviewed their food in the earlier post, but now I'm here for the star of the show. The mango sticky rice. 3 Mango Sticky Rice $10.95 ea. I could already tell by the consistency of the coconut milk and the rice. What my rating might be. But I never judge a book by its cover. I do really like the size of the slices of mangoes. I prefer larger cuts like this. I eat it with the rice, the fullness makes it better. I eat it with the rice earlier. It's probably the most important part of my criteria because you can always buy good mangoes, but you actually have to make the rice yourself. You can tell here that the rice doesn't stick together. It's missing the softness and chewiness that I like. Coconut milk was also too liquidy. Street Food Thai Market Mango Sticky Rice Rating: 6.7/10. I have to give this a 6.7 out of 10.
